CONTRACT GWS393 - DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR SERVICES
As part of its Information, Communication and Technology operations Gippsland Water requires an organisation to provide a range of Database Administration services and skills to support its business system operations.
The contract will consist of a range of specifically priced Database Administration activities and additional services to be provided at additional cost, as and when required by Gippsland Water. The service is to include, but not be limited to: -
2ND TIER SUPPORT
1. Providing a 2nd Tier support service that assists with Database problems and issues that Gippsland Water are unable to resolve and manage them through to completion.
2. Scheduled database maintenance and support activities such as, but not limited to: -
- Database Consistency Checks
- Reindex of Tables and Tuning
- Overall Database Health Report
- SQL Database Server Installations
- Setup and Maintenance of Database Jobs
- Monitoring errors and trouble shooting
- ADHOC SQL support to GW Business Analysts
- Create Databases
- Restore Databases
- Setup Reporting Services (SRS)

Lodging Tenders
Two (2) hard copies and one (1) soft copy of the Tender shall be submitted. All copies shall be enclosed in a sealed plain envelope and addressed "Gippsland Water, 55 Hazelwood Road Traralgon, 3844" and endorsed with Contract CONTRACT GWS393 - Database Administrator Services, are to be lodged in the tender box at the above address no later than 4.00 pm Thursday 4th July 2013
The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
