GVW is seeking to establish two separate panels of competent Automation contractors to provide programming of Automation Services for:
• Operational support to the four districts (Schedule of Rates)
• Major works conducted by GVW (Schedule of Rates or Lump Sum) or major works delivered by third party contractors for GVW
The panels to provide operational support and automation services for major works may not necessarily be the same. There is also no minimum or guaranteed workload for each of the panels.
It is envisaged that the contractors will have expertise and experience, (industrial experience is preferred), in many aspects of existing GVW sites and equipment and will be able to deliver flexible and efficient services.
Tenderers can submit prices for either one or all districts in price schedules 3A to 3D.
The selected panel for major works will be named as preferred automation service providers in GVW tenders. The panel shall negotiate with the tenderers and the selected contractors and GVW will not be involved with those negotiations. It is GVW’s intention that the panel will provide the required services to the head contractors as per the technical specifications in this contract.
