The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek detailed Proposals from suitably qualified consultants (Tenderers) to assist Goulburn Valley Region Water Corporation (GVW, the Corporation) with the development of an organisation-wide Climate Change Mitigation Strategy (CCMS).
Engaging with stakeholders across the business, the CCMS will build on the Corporation’s existing climate change mitigation actions, including the 2015 Energy Performance Program and 2012 Greenhouse Action Plan. The CCMS will take into account broader water industry initiatives as well as the Victorian Government’s short-term (2020), medium-term (2025) and long-term (2050) renewable energy and carbon targets.
The CCMS will form a cornerstone of GVW’s 2018-2023 regulatory pricing submission, clearly addressing capital and operational expenditure impacts, which is due in the second half of the 2017 calendar year.
