Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) manages and operates Wastewater Management Facilities (WMFs) which treat wastewater to a secondary or tertiary level. Due to increased performance requirement at the GVW managed Alexandra WMF, procurement of a new saturator vessel is required. The saturator vessel in involved in the Dissolved Air Floatation process of the plant, specifically to introduce air under pressure to water in a pressurised environment, creating an air saturated liquid.
Scope of Works
The works of this contract comprise the fabrication and delivery of the saturation vessel as per the drawings accompanying this specification. The scope of works is as follows:
„l Fabrication of one saturator vessel as per supplied drawings
„l Testing, inspection and certification of saturator vessel as per relevant codes and standards
„l Supply of materials and equipment as necessary for the completion of the contract works
„l Setting out the works
The Principal will not entertain any claim whatsoever for matters arising from failure to inspect or assess the difficulties and obstructions involved in the work of this Contract.
The whole of the works of the Contract shall be done to the satisfaction of the Superintendent.
