The objective of the contract is to undertake building works as set out in the Building Assessment for Compliance with the Current Building Act (VIC 1993), Building Interim Regulations (VIC 2017), National Construction Code (NCC) 2016 volume 1, and Children's Services Regulations 2009 at Trentham Kindergarten (Lighthouse Building Permits, June 2017 - Attachment 1).

The general scope of works is:
1. New threshold ramps to exterior doors in accordance with AS 1428.1-2009;
2. All existing doors to be upgraded in accordance with AS 1428.1-2009, minimum 850mm clearance;
3. All existing gate to have self-closing hinges
4. New exhaust fan to staff WC
5. Replace and paint all external eaves
(NB. Asbestos in eaves will be removed and Clearance Certificate provided prior to commencement of upgrade works)
6. New laundry bench to allow washer and dryer under

These are detailed in the attached Specification - Tender Issue A01 V1 including drawings and schedules (Attached - Attachment 2)



The works are to be undertaken at the Trentham Kindergarten, 6 Bridge Street, Trentham.
