Hepburn Shire Council is located in the central highlands of Victoria and incorporates Daylesford, Creswick, Clunes and Trentham and the smaller towns within. While largely based in Daylesford, Council has a presence in Creswick, Clunes and Trentham via its customer service and library outlets, aquatic facilities and its works depots. As part of the new Council Plan, the need for a Customer Service Strategy was identified and that this work incorporates the development of a Customer Service Charter. The Strategy will drive how the organisation approaches customer service, embeds a strong customer service culture throughout the organization and places customer service at the heart of all we do. The Charter is a public declaration of the expectations our customers can have of the Council’s service provision as well as the expectations Council has of customers.
