Built in 1876, the heritage listed Creswick Town Hall is a much-loved and iconic building, servicing
the Creswick community and its visitors for generations. This project aims to upgrade and refresh the Town Hall to ensure it remains an important community asset and secures the future of the gold rush era building.
The works shall include but not be limited to:
• External painting and repairs – façade, windows, doors to street frontage;
• General repairs with focus on eliminating water ingress, masonry and crack repairs;
• Compliant all-abilities entrance to Main Hall;
• Roof and rainwater works including updating the roof access system and flagpole replacement;
• Option A: Removal of Bio-Box over Main Hall entrance and reinstatement of original ornamentation;
• Option B: Remediation of Biobox as per spec.
*Option is to be decided at Council meeting to award contract - 17 August 2022.
