Hepburn Shire Council seeks a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to construct the Creswick Trails, a 60 kilometre network of mountain bike trails located five minutes from the town centre in Creswick, VIC.
The works include:
• construction of mountain bike trails
• design, supply and construction of low-level bridges
• tree and vegetation removal
• design, supply and construction of an elevated boardwalk
• communication with and progress reporting to with Council’s project manager
• site management and compliance with cultural, historic and ecological documentation
• environmental, cultural heritage and historic heritage monitoring/reporting during construction.
The successful contractor will be required to adhere to and implement the trail construction methodology and site management principals and guidelines detailed in the Trail Development Plan and Project Documentation Set including minimisation of disturbance of to the environment, the management of Aboriginal Cultural heritage found during the activity and the management of archaeological and heritage places.
