Council seeks an experienced builder with a civil construction background who can engage consultants, land surveyors, structural and civil designers to design and construct the drop-off points for Glass and FOGO material in the Hepburn Shire Transfer Stations.
These projects will be located at Creswick and Trentham transfer stations and should be executed simultaneously.
The drop-off points consist of a reinforced concrete structure (slab) capable of supporting large and heavy quantities of organic material and glass; in the case of Creswick, this structure will have to support the weight of a vehicle in transit of approximately 23 tonnes. These structures should be sloped to allow for proper drainage of leachate and to prevent the formation of puddles.
A concept will be provided; however, it will be up to the contractor to review the concept to ensure it is fit for purpose, obtain required site-based tests/investigations, undertake/obtain required engineering sign off and construct the drop off points.
Structural designs will be reviewed and approved by an external consultant.
