Tender Details
Submissions should provide a detailed methodology and detailed cost breakdown that addresses the following scope and includes tasks that would be required to achieve the following project scope.
To undertake a conditions audit of the Council owned outdoor pool infrastructure to provide the following details on the pool shell structures and their integrity.
Key scope requirements of the review includes:
Review of recent raw technical audits undertaken on each of the existing Hepburn Shire aquatics facilities and leak detection audit results undertaken by Able Leak Detection Trust.
Evidenced based structural asset condition audit and advice on the remaining asset life for each pool including an opinion of probable costs of the anticipated replacement value of each pool structure at the end of their asset life.
A leak detection audit of the Calembeen Toddlers Pool including advice on any recommended proactive and/or remediation works required.
A review and further investigation of recent inconclusive leak detection results of an evident leak at the Daylesford outdoor pool including advice on any recommended remediation works required.
Evidenced based advice on the capacity of the existing pool structures to withstand reconstruction works such as:
a) Dividing existing pool structures and/or installation of accessible wheelchair lifts/pods or ramps.
b) Installation of pool resurfacing or insert technologies that may prolong the life of the existing pool shells.
An independent recommendation to maintain, repair and/or replace for each of the existing Hepburn Shire aquatics facilities, including a critical review of current strategy and recommendations relating to pool structures. This recommendation should outline/highlight the financial and community access implications.
Required repairs to any damage caused to pool infrastructure through physical audit measures such as concrete cores and the removal of drain covers and/or grates.
