Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: China Market Entry Intelligence for Australian Apple Industry (AP23002).

The objectives of the services being sought are to support:
• Improved Decision Making: Deliver actionable market intelligence to guide entry strategies and support informed decision making, enabling growth in Australian apple export to China.
• Sustainable Export Growth: Provide insights that assist in building a robust framework for long-term success in the Chinese market, ensuring adaptability to evolving conditions and securing the industry’s prosperity.
• Enhanced Export Capability: Expanded market entry and penetration for Australian apple growers and exporters in China through comprehensive market intelligence, including competitor analysis.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
