Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Pilot marketing activities to drive offshore demand for apples (AP17518).
The objectives of the services being sought are to develop and implement marketing programs into the key markets identified in the Apple and Pear Export Strategy:
Prime prospect markets:
• UK
• Hong Kong
• Singapore
• USA
• UAE
• Thailand
• Europe (including but not limited to The Netherlands).
Opportunistic trading markets:
• PNG
• Indonesia.
This is the second year of a three-year export strategy for Australian apples.
Services we are looking for you to provide are:
• Export, distribution and sale of Australian apples in the identified markets
• Development, design and implementation of marketing activity in the identified markets
• Engagement with in-country brand marketers for the development and implementation of marketing campaigns in identified markets
• Collaborative activity with growers, exporters and other supply chain entities in Australia
• Work with importers, distributors and retailers in identified markets
• Work with brand owners (as applicable).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
