Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Banana industry R&D co-ordination (BA17002).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation lead and co-ordinate R&D delivery for the Australian banana industry by:
• Providing technical input to the development and conduct of R&D projects
• Facilitating collaborations where beneficial
• Working with industry extension and communication projects to ensure that the latest R&D developments are being made available to industry in an accurate and timely manner
• Representing the industry and its R&D at relevant forums, and meetings of relevant government departments and agencies.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 5.00pm (AEDT), June 19, 2018.
