Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Citrus industry communications program (CT18000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation to:
• Design and deliver a hard copy quarterly magazine to a database of 1800 people. This should be made available online in an easy to read format
• Design and deliver a fortnightly e-newsletter (highlighting R&D and marketing investments and issues key to industry)
• Develop six media releases per year and provide media support
• Develop a stakeholder survey every year to inform project M&E and continuous improvement
• Update and maintain the industry website
• Develop two YouTube grower case studies per year highlighting R&D levy outcomes and grower adoption
• Develop an industry social media plan and implement this within project life (at a minimum including Facebook and Twitter)
• Enable a text messaging service to allow for quick updates to growers and help drive them to communication outputs
• Develop an overarching communications strategy for the project (targeted at all project outputs) including a detailed monitoring and evaluation plan that contains a combination of KPIs measuring outputs and outcomes (as per the template provided in http://horticulture.com.au/resources/resource-centre-hort-innovation/)
• Apply Hort Innovation acknowledgement and branding on project outputs including all articles written about Hort Innovation funded projects (as per the Hort Innovation Publications Guide at http://horticulture.com.au/resources/resource-centre-hort-innovation/).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
