Request for Proposal: Food safety training, extension and capacity for the melon industry - Phase 2 (VM18003)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Food safety training, extension and capacity for the melon industry - Phase 2 (VM18003).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Strengthen knowledge and adoption of best practice in food safety for rockmelons and watermelons across the supply chain by developing resources and delivering a series of workshops in regions that capture growers, managers and key farm staff
• Reinforce food safety capacity across the supply chain.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
