Request for Proposal: Monitoring avocado quality in retail (AV19003)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project:
Monitoring avocado quality in retail (AV19003).
The objectives of the services being sought are to assist Hort Innovation:
• Monitor the quality of avocados in retail, on a frequent and consistent basis with a strong focus on country of origin
• Provide confidential feedback to retailers, marketing groups, growers and packers, where appropriate, and de-identified results to the avocado industry via the Avocados Australia Limited website, with the aim of improving the quality of avocados in retail.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 5pm (AEST), 23rd August, 2019.
