Request for Proposal: Australian summerfruit in-store promotions
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $13.2 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project Australian summerfruit in-store promotions (SF19503).
This initiative is managed by Hort Innovation and is focused on uncovering the impact of quality on purchasing behaviour of Australian stone fruit as well as understanding the emotional drivers to purchasing stone fruit. Identifying these emotional drivers will help to develop more targeted communication campaigns in the future.
The objectives of the services are to assist Hort Innovation determine the factors that contribute to consumer demand of nectarines in a retail environment, including:
- Consistent supply to consumers with fruit that has a high level of consumer acceptance
- Consumer promotion, education and messaging
- Differences across target groups (if data is available)
- The impact of quality on repeat purchase behaviour.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
