Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Processing tomato industry development and extension (TM20000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Collaborate with key Australian processing tomato research council representatives, project reference group, growers and Hort Innovation to plan and develop a processing tomato industry development and extension project and associated workplans.
• Undertake effective project monitoring, evaluation and reporting, enabling clear communication to levy payers and other stakeholders of the benefits to industry from this investment. Create grower practice change and increase knowledge, aspirations, skills and attitudes (KASA), through targeted extension activities.
This investment will work with Hort Innovation Extension Team, especially the Regional Manager – South East, and your proposal will indicate which KPI’s from the processing tomato Strategic Investment Plan the project will help achieve.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
