Request for Proposal: Evaluation of hive stocking rates for managed pollination across horticulture (PH21000)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Evaluation of hive stocking rates for managed pollination across horticulture (PH21000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Review of all hive stocking rate information and conduct analysis of fit for industry appropriateness
• Test hive stocking rates in relation to optimum pollination and fruit set across crops and regions as well as growing systems
• Develop guidelines for industry to make informed decisions on hive requirements for their crop.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 3pm (AEDT), 14 January 2022. Now extended to 21st January 2022, 3:00pm.
