Request for Proposal: Turf industry development and extension (TU21001)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Turf industry development and extension (TU21001).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Design and deliver national industry development and extension services in a strategic and nationally coordinated manner. The delivery partner will leverage project resources through coordinating and collaborating with Turf industry service providers and industry organizations, including state and regional associations.
• Facilitate industry development and extension services including (but not limited to), workshops, videos, factsheets, field trips, demonstration sites, tools and resources, webinars/podcasts and industry conferences/seminars – First two years of the project focusing 70 per cent on-farm industry development and extension and 30 per cent extension to end-users.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
