Request for Proposal: Nursery industry communications program (NY22000)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Nursery industry communications program (NY22000).
The objectives of the services being sought are:
• An increase in growers’ aspirations to produce a high quality product and take pride in what they do and their industry.
• Increased engagement (reach), awareness, knowledge and skills within the nursery industry of their R&D and marketing investments, as well as any other related programs.
• Increased engagement, awareness and knowledge to the nursery industry value chain on research findings, best practice, emerging risks and opportunities.
• Improved understanding of nursery R&D program outcomes in order to build a stronger, more resilient Australian nursery industry.
• Enhanced communication and sharing of knowledge and information on technical developments in the nursery industry.
• Increased understanding of the levy system, the industry advisory mechanism and how to participate and the role of Hort Innovation within industry.
• The increase in engagement and awareness has been supported by amplification of the communication channels with national and state bodies.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
