Expression of Interest: Commercial licence for novelty pink and white strawberry varieties
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Queensland are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable partner for the commercial licence for novelty pink and white strawberry varieties.
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• facilitate, manage and support the commercialisation of novelty pink and white strawberry varieties
• expand the strawberry category by supporting the development of a new range of novelty strawberry varieties to support grower profitability
• market and promote the new novelty pink and white varieties to consumers.
Hort Innovation has prepared an Expression of Interest (EOI) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
