Request for Proposal: Avocado industry benchmarking 2022-2025 (AV22004)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Avocado industry benchmarking 2022-2025 (AV22004).
The objectives of the services being sought are to assist Hort Innovation to provide the avocado industry with a grower orientated benchmarking program that supports enhanced grower decision making. The key objectives of this program are to:
• Deliver and refine key benchmark performance metrics that support grower decision making and monitor industry progress against the Strategic Investment Plan (SIP).
• Support the avocado industry identify and validate emerging trends and issues affecting production through a participatory grower orientated program that employs a benchmarking tool.
• Provide Australian avocado growers with meaningful data on the operational, financial and production components of their business, and allow for comparisons with other growers by fruit variety, business size or region.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
