Request for Proposal: Determining the impacts of crop fungicide treatments on Honey bee colonies in Australia (PH22001)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Determining the impacts of crop fungicide treatments on Honey bee colonies in Australia (PH22001).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Review how Australia differs globally in terms of impacts pathways and fungicide use
• Understand if there are longer-term impacts of fungicides on Honey bee health
• Increase knowledge of ways to mitigate any negative impacts of fungicides on Honey bee health, particularly at a field level for Australia
• Develop industry best practise guides for fungicide use in consultation with horticulture and beekeeping industry.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
