Request for Proposal: Evidence-based education program to support increased vegetable consumption in children (VG22005)
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Evidence-based education program to support increased vegetable consumption in children (VG22005).
The objectives of the services are to help Hort Innovation use the behavioural science insights from the VegKIT program (VG16064) to:
• Extend knowledge assets to stakeholders who can influence demand for produce
• Translate evidence-based approaches to children’s vegetable consumption into behavioural strategies to educate health professionals and child settings-based professionals
• Prepare tools and resources for health professionals and child settings-based professionals (including cooks and chefs) to increase adoption of evidence-based approaches to increasing children’s acceptance and consumption of vegetables..
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
