Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $14.4 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Avocado Co-design Workshop Facilitation (AV).

The objective of the co-design workshop is to bring together key stakeholders, experts, and representatives from the avocado industry to collaboratively design and shape the AV23003 Avocado Market Access and Trade Development Project's next five years. Through active participation and consultation, the workshop aims to:


1. Identify Industry Priorities: Gather insights and perspectives from various stakeholders to identify the most critical priorities and challenges facing the Australian avocado industry's export trade.


2. Align with Market Dynamics: Understand the evolving market dynamics, both domestically and internationally, to ensure that the project's objectives and strategies align with the current and future demands of the avocado export market.


3. Strengthen Industry Engagement: Foster a deeper level of engagement with the broader avocado industry, encouraging active involvement and ownership in shaping the project's direction and outcomes.


4. Enhance Program Effectiveness: Evaluate the effectiveness of the AV23003 project's previous iterations, use results of AV20003 final evaluation, drawing lessons from past experiences, and integrating best practices to enhance the program's overall impact.


By facilitating a collaborative and inclusive approach, the co-design workshop aims to ensure that the AV23003 Avocado Market Access and Trade Development Project is well-positioned to address the industry's needs, capitalise on emerging opportunities, and contribute significantly to the sustainable growth and success of Australian avocado exports in the years to come.
