Request for Proposal: Summerfruit Trade Development Project
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s close to $16 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefits to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and capable delivery partner for the project: Summerfruit Trade Development Project (SF23003).
The objectives of the services being sought are to achieve:
• Sustainable growth: support the long-term growth and competitiveness of the summerfruit industry, and support farmgate growers return.
• Enhanced export capability: equip summerfruit growers and industry stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to effectively engage in international trade.
• Improved market access: facilitate smoother market access by addressing technical, regulatory and trade barriers.
• Enhanced industry coordination: foster collaboration and coordination among industry players to create a unified approach.
• Supply chain collaboration: Improved level of collaboration and engagement with key supply chain members in key export markets.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information and outlines the scope of services, the procurement process, and the information required from interested parties.
