Health and nutrition benefits of dried fruits
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $17 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $170 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Educational resources on the health and nutrition benefits of dried fruits (MT25009).
The objective of this project is to collate information and prepare resources to identify health claims and educate about the health benefits of dried fruits. These resources can be:
• Used by industry members to educate healthcare professionals and their clients about the health and nutrition benefits of dried grapes, prunes and fruits, for example the benefits of dried fruit as a snacking option over unhealthy options.
• Distributed to health care professionals to tackle misconceptions about the role of dried fruits to nutrition and health.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
