1) Request for Proposal: Evaluation of new rootstocks for the Australian Citrus Industry 2017-21 (CT17002)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Evaluation of new rootstocks for the Australian Citrus Industry 2017-21 (CT17002).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation:
• Evaluate newly established national grower’s trials and dwarfing Citrus rootstocks trials at Dareton with Chinese and USA rootstocks.
• Continue to evaluate the salt tolerance Citrus rootstocks trial in West Australia and processing Orange trial in Riverina.
• Evaluate Washington Navel on a range of rootstocks and a Mandarin on Italian rootstocks.
• Introduce and evaluate Huanglongbing (HLB) tolerant rootstocks for yield and quality in collaboration with AusCitrus.
