Tender Details
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner/s for the projects: Australian Sweet Potatoes - Events (PW17507) and In-store demonstrations (PW17514).

The objectives of the services being sought are to undertake:

Events
The delivery partner will be responsible for the development and execution of exhibits for events. Australian Sweet Potatoes exhibits at major events such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the Ekka to reach target audiences. In these, consumers view live cooking demonstrations and are provided with samples, recipe cards and books. A recent exhibit at a baby show was an opportunity to reach new mothers and pregnant women to highlight the benefits sweet potato for a baby’s first food and weaning; toddlers and children.

Instore demonstrations
The delivery partner will be responsible for the development and execution of in-store demonstrations. Australian Sweet Potatoes conducts in-store demonstrations to educate consumers; increase sales; encourage trialling; communicate health benefits; encourage product uptake; and distribute recipe brochures. A key objective of in-store demonstrations is to encourage trialling of sweet potatoes amongst the target audience of 'mums' of children aged under 12 years.

The projects will commence in January 2018.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
