Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner/s for the projects: Australian Sweet Potatoes - Social media (PW17504) and Public relations (PW17508).
The objectives of the services being sought are to undertake project management and reporting of the following:
Social media
The delivery partner will be responsible for the development and execution of the Australian Sweet Potato social media strategy. Hort Innovation is seeking an agency that can manage the majority of the project in-house with minimal subcontracts out of a master agreement with Hort Innovation.
The respondent must have expertise in:
• PR/media with specific knowledge in food media and influencers
• Social media community management, content creation, promotions and paid media
• Campaign monitoring and evaluation
• Working with organisations with a similar complexity to Hort Innovation.
Public relations
The delivery partner will be responsible for the development and execution of earned media coverage from January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2020. This will include but will not be limited to television, radio, magazine, newspaper, online, social media channels educating the target demographic on the health benefits, seasonality, harvesting, varieties and uses and picking practices of sweet potatoes.
The projects will commence in January 2018.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 5pm (Sydney time), Monday, November 27, 2017
