Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Lady Finger banana in-store demonstrations (BA17514).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Educate consumers on the differences of Lady Finger bananas
• Target people 25 to 39 years of age and families with children aged 12 years or under.
The delivery partner will be required to develop and execute in-store demonstrations in major and independent supermarkets nationally to educate consumers on the differences of Lady Finger banana. The focus is on education (ripeness and when they are ready for consumption); trialling (tasting the difference); and application (ways to prepare and consume – illustrating how they don't go brown when cut).
The in-store demonstrations will start in early- to mid-February when production is plentiful.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
The closing date for responses is 5.00 pm (AEDT), Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
