Request for Proposal: Improving the biosecurity preparedness of Australian horticulture for the exotic spotted wing drosophila (drosophila suzukii) (MT17005)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Improving the biosecurity preparedness of Australian horticulture for the exotic spotted wing drosophila (drosophila suzukii) (MT17005).
The objectives of the services being sought are to develop a preparedness program for spotted wing drosophila (SWD) in Australia:
• To increase the chance of detection and reporting of SWD through increased awareness and knowledge of the pest
• To improve capacity to ensure faster response time to any incursions of SWD.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
