Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Almond irrigation Best Practice Management (AL17004).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Determine Best Practice Management (BPM) for almond irrigation with primary focus on dripper efficiency, filters and maintenance schedule co-ordination.
• Develop an almond irrigation BPM guide and associated tools/resources
• Increase the capacity of Australian almond growers to adopt irrigation BPM
• Equip almond growers with the guide as a resource that can be used to train irrigation BPM.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties. The closing date for responses is 5.00pm (AEDT), March 26, 2018.
