Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.

Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Mushroom industry benchmarking 2016-17 to 2017-18 (MU16006).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation and the mushroom industry determine and report on priority benchmarking parameters to establish industry best practice and competitive advantage.

This project seeks to establish priority benchmarking data for the mushroom industry to ensure that industry and growers have a clear understanding on the metrics of best practise that are crucial to supporting continued performance and business sustainability. In addition, the project findings will help industry understand and form communication messaging regarding competitive advantages in existing production practise regarding conversion of resource inputs throughout the production cycle.

Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
