Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Australian olive industry communications and extension program (OL18000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to help Hort Innovation:

• Increase industry understanding and adoption of production best practice as well as awareness and adoption of any emerging production information and relevant production related R&D project outcomes and outputs
• Increase industry awareness, understanding and uptake/adoption of supply chain and post farm-gate R&D project outcomes and outputs
• Promote Hort Innovation membership and engagement with the national R&D program to all olive levy payers
• Provide a mechanism to allow feedback from growers and the industry to Hort Innovation regarding: the usefulness and applicability of research project outputs and any opportunities for improvement; opportunities or issues being experienced by growers (to potentially be addressed through the olive levy fund R&D program)
• Deliver the services in such a way that the project effectively integrates with and leverages other related investments made by Hort Innovation and any successful technology transfer processes (such as existing local industry networks/groups) currently occurring within the industry.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
