Request for Proposal: Exploring IPM compatible methods for Drosophila suzukii in berry crops (MT18010)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia's $9 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $100 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Exploring IPM compatible methods for Drosophila suzukii (SWD) in berry crops (MT18010).
The objectives of the services being sought are to explore SWD behaviour and ecology in different climates and berry crops in order to provide workable solutions for Australian conditions and to help Hort innovation:
• increase the chance of managing and containing SWD through increased knowledge of the pest
• improve capacity of industry to ensure faster response time to any incursions of SWD by having immediate access to international expertise and experience.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
