Expression of Interest: Commercial licence for new temperate strawberry varieties
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $14.4 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable partner for the Commercial licence for new temperate strawberry varieties.
The objectives of the commercial licence are to help Hort Innovation and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Queensland:
• facilitate, manage and support the commercialisation of new temperate strawberry varieties
• promote the adoption of new temperate strawberry varieties amongst Australian growers
• market and promote the new temperate strawberry varieties to consumers
Hort Innovation has prepared an Expression of Interest (EOI) document that provides background information, licence information, the EOI process and the information required from interested parties.

The closing date for responses is 9.00am (AEST), 31 August 2020. Now extended to close 9:00am (AEST), 14 September 2020.
