Request for Proposal: Crisis management planning for the sweetpotato industry (PW20002)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Crisis Management for the sweetpotato industry (PW20002).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
• Undertake risk identification, mitigation strategy formulation and management planning.
• Develop an updated comprehensive crisis management plan for the sweetpotato Industry.
• Ensure the industry is equipped to manage crisis events, outlining responsibilities of key stakeholders and resources required for the management of a crisis.
• Provide crisis management training and capacity building to the Industry and key stakeholders that will be required to be involved in the event of a recall or crisis.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
This Crisis Management investment will be run in parallel with project: Risk and crisis management planning for the Onion Industry (VN20001). VN20001 and PW20002 (this project) are being advertised concurrently. Whilst these projects will be awarded separately, Hort Innovation will look for efficiencies if potential delivery partners respond to both.
