Request for Proposal: Scientific review for classification of unsweetened citrus juice in the Australian Dietary Guidelines (CT21004)
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Scientific review for classification of unsweetened citrus juice in the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
· Review existing scientific information as an evidence base for maintaining the status of 100 per cent, no added sugar (citrus) juice as a core food in the Australian Dietary Guidelines (ADG)
· Provide technical expertise to the submission to the National Health and Medical Research Council ADG review, and keep industry informed on progress and outcomes (NOTE: advocacy work is not part of this project).
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
