Request for Proposal: Learning from the past to amplify community vegetable education programs of the future
Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Learning from the past to amplify community vegetable education programs of the future (VG22003).
This project objective seeks to understand why the consumptions of vegetables continues to be low, despite the considerable investments of time, money and resources in initiatives to increase consumption rates. This project seeks to review the existing initiatives to understand the successes and challenges of these and how future investments in this space can be improved and in turn, understand how to see real, measurable change in Australian vegetable consumption.
The delivery partner will seek to achieve this via addressing the below objectives:
• Identify and critically evaluate the effectiveness of community initiatives and education programs that aim to increase vegetable consumption.
• Seek to answer the question of what makes a community initiative successful in increasing vegetable consumption, what can be learned and adapted to other initiatives.
• Provide recommendations for use in future programs based on the impacts of existing community initiatives.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
The RFP may be downloaded from www.tenders.net (you will need to be a member of tenders.net to access this information).
