The Pacific Community (SPC) with the support of donor partners will be convening the Pacific Biomedical Network (PBN) meeting on the 29th – 31st May 2023, in Nadi, Fiji. The 3-day meeting will be divided into a Training Workshop (29/05/23) and the Biomedical Network meeting proper (30-31 May 2023). This procurement is for the engagement of a consultant firm to provide Biomedical Electrical Safety Testing
training and certification.
The training Workshop will focus on the Biomedical Electrical Safety Testing Training and certification of the Pacific Island Country and Territory (PICT) candidates which consists of about 20 members.
Objectives of Training:
1. to facilitate practical refresher training in the use of electrical analysers and certification of
Pacific biomedical staff in the use of electrical analysers
2. to mentor and provide technical support and recommendations to strengthen Biomedical
services in the region
