SPC is seeking a qualified and experienced preventative medicine service provider to ensure the fitness
and health of employees prior to and during employment. This includes providing pre-employment and
periodic medical check-up services, facilitating connections with medical providers worldwide, work
accident recognition and follow up, managing the process efficiently, and delivering timely outcomes. The
provider will also be expected to provide on demand visit especially in cases where medical issues have to
be attended to immediately.
The selected service provider must have the capacity to support SPC’s global recruitment efforts by
establishing and maintaining partnerships with medical providers in most countries. This global reach is
essential to ensure seamless service delivery for candidates and staff located worldwide. The provider is
expected to propose alternative systems to compensate for countries lacking medical providers
The selected service provider will also play a key role in developing and implementing a prevention policy
to validate SPC staff’s fitness for work and proactively avoid health deterioration due to job-related
conditions. The provider will operate in all of SPC’s official offices (New Caledonia, Fiji, Vanuatu, Federated
States of Micronesia, Polynesia Regional Office) as well as in countries where new staff are hired
