SPC intends to appoint preferred suppliers for Hardware Material commonly used for routine maintenance works and major construction projects for SPC offices and for its other member countries in the pacific region where SPC implements projects. SPC herewith invites bidders to submit a sealed bid for appointment of qualified contractor/s on Preferred Supplier arrangements for the supply of Hardware Materials for SPC offices and SPC implemented projects in the pacific region. The appointed preferred supplier/s is expected to provide a quotation and upon issuance of an official SPC purchase order be able to promptly deliver at SPC office in Suva or any other member country, the requirements at a price, which provides SPC the best value for money for every procurement made with the preferred supplier.
Preferred Supplier Agreement’s (PSA) will be awarded to the successful contractor/s for up to one year at the discretion of SPC and renewed for three years subject to Contractors performance which will be assessed on a yearly basis and the review and verification of costs against the market rates which will also be carried out on a yearly basis. The contract/s will be awarded, through a competitive selection process, to the supplier/s that can clearly demonstrate through a written response to this Procurement Specifications a high level of experience, professionalism, ability, competency and best practice in providing the services as per the Scope of Services below (Part D).
