SPC requires provision of wind pump parts and technical assistance to achieve the scope as per Table 1 of the RFP document. This will involve shipping the required parts to Kiritimati Island (container ships land at Kiritimati port every three to four months) and providing a qualified wind pump technician to travel to Kiritimati for two weeks1 to support Ministry of Line and Phoenix Islands Development with installation and rehabilitation works, while training applicable staff on appropriate operations and maintenance (O&M) protocol.
