SPC recognizes the significant health challenges posed by NCDs in the Pacific region, including high mortality rates and economic impacts. In response, various initiatives have been conducted including strengthening leadership and governance at regional and national levels; strengthening capability, knowledge and skills; developing legislations, policies, guidelines and standards; initiating digital and innovative platforms; and establishing frameworks to monitor and evaluate progress and impacts of NCD actions in the Pacific.
Scope of work:

Lot 1: Development of guidelines for healthy living and related practices in the Pacific
Lot 2 Development of guidelines to provide direction for the development and establishment of governance and leadership for NCDs prevention and control in the Pacific
Lot 3 Development of policies to prevent and control Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the Pacific
Lot 4: Review and drafting of legislations to promote prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases in the Pacific
Lot 5: Development of information, education and communication materials for the prevention and control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) and their associated risk factors in the Pacific
Lot 6: Evaluating the implementation, effectiveness and impacts of an NCD Strategy to tackle Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the Pacific
