The purpose of this consultancy is to engage preferred suppliers to act as Facilitating Agents in the four states of FSM , Chuuk , Kosrae , Pohnpei & Yap , as and when required through the life cycle of the EDA Programme .
The Facilitating Agents will provide technical support for Municipalities and State governments. In particular, they shall support the Municipalities and State governments in prioritizing their adaptation interventions and developing climate Change proposals.
These Facilitating Agents will be selected from amongst Non-Governments Organizations and/or individual consultants. Once selected, the Facilitating Agents will receive training and capacity building in the form of “train-the-trainers” modules to ensure that they are adequately equipped to support Local Authorities (LAs) in the development of sub-grant applications and the management of such grants.
