The Scope of Work (SoW) of this project includes:
1. the engineering, delivery, installation, and commissioning of two power generation systems with energy storage system for three Island mini grids namely (1) Fefen, (2) Etten and (3) Piis Paneu.
2. Provision of a comprehensive hands-on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) training for CPUC personnel, partner staff, and local community members from the communities. This training will take place after or leading to the commissioning. The Contractor must ensure that CPUC's local staff are fully equipped to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the system effectively.
3. Further this RFP is seeking quotations for the supply and transportation to the three islands of the low voltage service line and energy meters to connect the households to the grid.
The SoW of the project has been divided into four lots where all interested bidders must provide proposals against the four lots.
- Annex A - Lot 1: Design, Supply & Installation of Hybrid Mini Grid Installation in the island of Fefen in Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
- Annex B - Lot 2: Design, Supply & Installation of Hybrid Mini Grid Installation in the islands of Etten and Piis Paneu in Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
- Annex C - Lot 3: Supply of the necessary equipment for the construction of the low-voltage distribution grid in the island of Fefen in Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
- Annex D - Lot 4: Supply of the necessary equipment for the construction of the low-voltage distribution grid in the islands of Etten and Piis Paneu in Chuuk State in the Federated States of Micronesia.
