The role of the consultant is to design and develop the Tokelau National NCD Plan of Action 2025 – 2030 with the Tokelau Department of Health (DoH), the Pacific Community (SPC)’s Public Health Division (PHD) and relevant stakeholders. This plan is to support the new Tokelau Health Strategic Plan 2025-2030 and covers the main risk factors for NCDs (unhealthy eating, physical inactivity, tobacco and alcohol misuse). The plan is to also strongly reflect a multisectoral approach to addressing NCD determinants and risk factors along the causation pathway.
