Regional Pacific Nationally Determined Contributions Hub (consultant)
The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) submitted its updated NDC to the UNFCCC Secretariat in 2022. Following the Global Stocktake (GST) at COP28 and recent climate discussions, FSM intends to update its NDC in 2025. This update will be minor, focusing on integrating outcomes from COP28 and COP29, as well as reflecting recent in-country climate-related projects and activities.
The NDC3.0 will ensure that FSM's climate commitments remain aligned with the latest global climate discourse, national priorities, and regional frameworks. The update will also incorporate new projects and initiatives that have been implemented since the last submission, ensuring that the NDC reflects the country's evolving climate action landscape.
The NDC Hub is seeking consultancy services to support FSM in completing the NDC3.0, ensuring coherence with existing national, regional, and global climate frameworks.
